CONSTANTINE THE GREAT NIŠ
Niš Airport "Constantine the Great" (IATA: INI, ICAO: LYNI) is the second-largest international airport in Serbia. It is located in Niš, only 4 kilometers from the urban part of the city. In addition to regular routes, it is also used as an alternative airport to airports in the region (Belgrade, Sofia, Priština, and Skopje). It has active cargo traffic as well.
The capacity of the airport is three planes per hour.
With favorable weather conditions during the year, and also with a very good location, Niš Airport recorded a large increase in the number of passengers. This is one of the airports that achieved 400% growth in 2016. In 2019, the number of passengers exceeded as many as 420.000 passengers.
The current airline that uses the services of Nis Airport is WIZZ AIR, while from March 2021, the flights of the airlines RYANAIR and AIR SERBIA will be renewed.
